Citizens within your city react fluidly, with gravitas and with an air of authenticity to a multitude of game play scenarios. Playing as the mayor of your city you’ll be faced with balancing essential requirements such as education, water electricity, police, fire fighting, healthcare and much more along with your citys real economy system.
#CITIES SKYLINES EXPANSIONS MOD#
It also includes the ability to mod the game to suit your play style as a fine counter balance to the layered and challenging simulation. The game introduces new game play elements to realize the thrill and hardships of creating maintaining the a real city whilst expanding on some well-established tropes of the city building experience.įrom the makers of the Cities in Motion franchise, the game boasts a fully realized transport system.
#CITIES SKYLINES EXPANSIONS ACTIVATION KEY#
I like what you have said here and it is so true, eery place I have been to I get a different 'feel' for and it comes down to the personality of the people and the place so it all goes hand in hand.NOTICE: Activation key must be used on a valid Steam account, requires internet connection.Ĭities: Skylines is a modern take on the classic city simulation. With every Terry Fox, you get a Willie Pickton. The city should tell the story of the citizens. Cities should be about people more than infrastructure and buildings. Otherwise, city planning games like Skyines and SimCity end up being more or less screensavers. in CKII: each with their own "DNA" and agendas. The policies are nice, but they could be enacted by committees, and these committees would be like the lords and cardinals etc. Zoning and city planning are financially huge, but really only a segment of the civic picture when running a city. I would like to see that kind of personality added to Skylines as well, perhaps in the form of councillors and officials. That the agendas and genetics get pass on to new generations just makes it even better. That every face in the game has their own personality, agenda, and genetics just makes the game shine. Originally posted by Twelvefield:The greatest Paradox game in my opinion is Crusader Kings II. Id like to but something together to send to Colossal so please post your ideas! Fairgrounds were good in SimCity but there was never the space to develop them full, In Cities we don't have such issues.
This would be nice and help Commerce too. The Airport is almost a waste of time! Another great part of SimCity 5 was being able to become a tourism city and have modular Casinos, Concerts Halls, Stadiums to generate lots of extra cash. Tourism: I hope After Dark fixes this as it seems broken in its current form for just under utilized. I loved the Recycling center in SimCity and the ability to use or sell the produce (when it worked!)
Public service industry as a whole could do with a refresh. Modular Buildings: SimCity got this right, This is something we really need in Cities so that we can add extra upgrades to existing buildings e.g. Taxis are due to be added in After Dark so nice addition there! Seeing bus routes and Metro routes while setting up rail routes can be annoying and confusing and vice versa. When we want to manipulate the rail for example it should be possible to hide/display other forms of transport. Another feature that really needs expanded is the transport tab. It would be nice for elevated Metro stations and maybe even the ability for Trains to share Metro lines over certain sections i.e.
Transport: The game lacks Trams, Elevated Metro and integration of Train/Metro stations. Day/Night Cycle will be fantastic.Maybe Rain and Snow to follow? SimCity 5 got one or two things right which I hope we see in Cities and It looks like we may in After Dark. However there's a few things I think should be addressed in the game. Like many of you I'm rejoicing in the announcement of the first of what I hope will be many expansion packs for cities.
